When trying to make breaking changes to a site or application, it's always a good idea to perform a backup first, that you can easily and quickly restore in the event that something breaks.
As well as our own automated backups, you can also perform one-off backups with JetBackup. These are temporary, and are automatically deleted after 30 days after they've been captured. You can store a maximum of 3 manual backups.
These manual backups are a good way of testing changes in WordPress for example, as they only take a couple of seconds to a few minutes to restore, depending on the size of your site.
1) Under the 'Extra Features' tab in your hosting control panel, select 'JetBackup'
2) In the JetBackup Interface, select 'Create Backup On Demand'
3) When prompted whether you wish to continue, select 'OK'
To check progress of your manual backup, select the 'Queue' button on the left hand side, then you should see a list of your manual backup tasks
