If you notice that you're commonly receiving inappropriate emails containing adult words, then you may wish to blanket block these using the adult filter list.
1) Login to your hosting control panel, then go to Email Manager -> SPAM Filters
2) Tick the 'Adult Filter
' box and select whether you wish to 'Drop
' these emails (these never reach your inbox), or 'Send to spambox
' which will send the emails to your junk folder.
We recommend initially setting this to 'Send to spambox
', as some legitimate emails may be captured by this filter. Once you review your Junk Folder for a while, you may decide that you'd rather 'Drop
' the emails. We also discourage use of this filter list if you are subscribed to any adult content using your domain.
For clarity, we have published the list of words that are being blocked by this filter list. Please note that this list is not maintained by us, and therefore may be outdated at the time that you read this.
We do, however, have the capacity to add words to this list. Please contact our Support Team if you have believe a word should be added to this list, although we cannot guarantee that we will block the word in question, as we do not want to cause delivery issues for our clients. We do also have the ability to remove words from this list, but we will only consider removal of adult words in the event that it is causing delivery issues for multiple clients. Rather, we suggest disabling the Adult Filter if you are experiencing issues due to the list, and compile your own list using the 'Stop Words
' function within the E-Mail Filters
section of DirectAdmin.
The words in the list below have likely been collated by several neural engines as being commonly used in scams and spam.
